Can The Tampogo Network Marketing Opportunity Compete With The Amazon Affiliate Program?

By Billy Loi

How is the Tampogo network marketing opportunity different from the Amazon affiliate program? Tampogo is an emerging MLM network marketing company that is trying to be a major player in the online discount shopping world. Amazon has always been the dominant player in the field of customer loyalty programs involving discount purchases. Unfortunately, Amazon's affiliate program does not operate under a network marketing software like Tampogo's. So this presents a major challenge to those who want to become affiliate marketers for Amazon because affiliate marketing is a different breed of marketing program that requires a background in internet marketing in order to be successful.

The question that is lingering in the minds of industry critics is this: Does Tampogo have what it takes to establish an online distribution channel like Amazon? Tampogo is now open for business online and they still have a lot of work to do in their word of mouth marketing efforts to establish themselves as an authority in customer loyalty programs. Their product selection is currently limited for the time being to a few product categories.

Despite these limitations, Tampogo is taking the time to really understand and implement Amazon's business building plan that pertain to the concept of helping anyone save tremendous amounts of money on their online shopping bill. The market share in the online shopping industry is still pretty much untapped and available for anyone who has enough balls to take on an industry that takes pride in customer loyalty.

In order to be successful, Tampogo needs to study the online shopping behavior as it pertains to what is a hot selling item. This is crucial because if most people are buying it online instead of in the brick and mortal retail business world, then it is definitely an item that needs to be carried. There are also a lot of items that people would rather buy offline where human interaction is something that cannot be replaced such as shopping for clothes with your friends. Jeff Bezos of Amazon already knew about these buying habits back in the mid 90's and has capitalized on it tremendously.

Steve Jobs of Apple computer also saw the potential of the technological revolution in the music industry. To make life a lot simpler for music lovers, he successfully launched his Ipod product line to allow music to be downloaded from the convenience of your own computer. Virgin Record's CD market share had plunged after the emergence of this digital music downloading technology.

And it seems apparent that Jeff Bezos of Amazon is trying to rip a page straight from the Steve Job's book of market domination. You have probably heard about Jeff Bezos's most popular product creations. It is called the Kindle reader. All owners of the Kindle reader can download books purchased from Amazon. You can call it the iPhone for books. Despite this extraordinary technological advantage, Amazon is still facing an uphill battle in terms of attempting to create obsolescence in the physical book market.

Barnes and Nobles and other big name book stores are no longer at the mercy of what may appear to be an Amazon monopoly of the book market.

You are probably wondering how significant is Tampogo to the online shopping world? Tampogo saw gaps in the affiliate marketing industry that is not being taken advantage of by the current industry giants. What is this gap in the market place? It is the powerful leverage of software technology that is capable of tracking the referral sources of all customers through network marketing channels.

How does Amazon's affiliate marketing model compare to Tampogo's? Tampogo is strictly based on the network marketing model which allows average Joes with no computer experience to earn residual income by referring their friends and family to a free membership account that gives them access to the lowest prices on almost everything they buy.

Does this mean that Amazon's affiliate marketing model is more complicated? Yes... especially for those who are technically challenged in terms of not knowing how to copy an Amazon HTML affiliate code to a website. In other words, you need to know how to sell in order to make money with Amazon. And most average people do not have the patience to overcome the internet marketing learning curve. I have had my struggles myself and still do today. It ain't easy.

Most people do not have this kind of patience to learn about the sophisticated nature of internet marketing. I still have problems myself wrestling with this concept. But not to worry. With the Tampogo network marketing business model, anyone can succeed without any knowledge of internet marketing. How is that possible? It's because Tampogo pays out commissions to their members for the simple act of getting their friends and family to sign up for a free membership account. How difficult is that? The incentive to sign up is the opportunity to save money on their everyday purchases without changing their shopping habits. Do you know anyone who wants to save money? Now can you see why Tampogo's network marketing business model is so easy to operate?
