By Jack Halim

A success business today will have leads flowing into their business from all possible channels. One of the best channels is having a website. A website can ensure that you get maximum exposure from the internet.

If you already created a website, the next step is to people to visit it. There are many ways to do this but one of the best ways is to get visitors thru Google by identifying the terms that they type into the search box. These visitors are the most targeted and the most adept to respond to any offer related to their searches. That won't happen to you if your website is ranked at page 10. You need to get first page listing on Google to ever stand a chance.

The secret to doing this is known as SEO. SEO is a methodology to get websites that are not ranking on Google to finally rank on the top 10 of Google. Companies like this SEO company are implementing SEO in their overall plan because they know of the potential revenue that they might be leaving out if they don't take concrete steps to compete in this new market.

In order to get No #1 on Google, you need to understand how Google ranks sites and apply that understanding in your rank getting strategy.

To get first page Google listing, you need to follow these simple strategies:

1. Provide unique and relevant content to your targeted visitors. In other words, don't create a website or a blog that spits out garbage. That won't work and eventually, Google will find out and penalize your site. Be relevant to your visitors and Google will reward you with top rankings.

2. Provide contents with your link at social media websites. Google considers recommendations in terms of Google+ and Facebook Likes as extremely important in their ranking algorithm. Don't omit this in your strategy. Quickly embrace them and you will see your efforts pay off in the long run.

3. If possible, get links from authority sites. This is the key to get sustainable ranking on Google. You can do this by becoming a guest blogger on a very high-traffic website that will link back to your site.

SEO is not hard but it does require some work. So, have fun ranking websites and see you on top.
