Considerate film stuffed with poetic energy, and a soundtrack of remarkable people melodies. Cast includes Liu Zhong Yuan, Huang Lei, Xu Qing, Ma Ling, and Zhang Zhengguan. (110 minutes, 1991)
Night of the Demons: On Halloween day, wouldn't you know it some common adolescents pick the wrong acquired mortuary to reception in. Everything in reference to this amateurish film is unnecessary, containing the film itself. Excellent makeup, albeit particularly the prosthetics on Quigley. Cast includes Cathy Podewell, Alvin Alexis, William Gallo, Mimi Kinkade, Linnea Quigley, and Spear Fenton. (89 minutes, 1987)
Stagecoach: One of the awesome American films, and a landmark in the aging of the Western, balancing personality research as distinct passengers voyage together on the identical stagecoach and peerless action in a long Indian assault, characterizing Yakima Canutt's renowned-stunt work. Additionally, this is the film that launched John Wayne to authentic stardom. Mitchell won an Oscar as the intoxicated physician, as did the music score. Script by Dudley Nichos, from Ernest Haycox's tale "Level to Lordsburg" whose structure is comparable to Man de Maupassant's Boule de Suif. All About My Mother: While a lady loses her child, she returns to Barcelona, renews a latent kinship with a transvestite buddy, and gets to be engaged with a level actress her child adored. Ahnod6var's most moving film to date-more earnest than most, although not without his trademark humor and differentiated by outstanding behaviors all around. Cast includes Cecilia Roth, Marisa Paredes, Penelope Cruz, Antonia San Juan, Candela Pena, and Eloy Azorin. (101 minutes, 1999)
Club Paradise: Delightful cast in delightful environment, requiring only a script and a few more giggles. Williams plays Chicago fireman who retires to West Indian island, goes halves with local Cliff on turning ramshackle beachfront asset into holiday resort. Authors even try to shoehorn an 'earnest' subplot in regards to exploitation of the locals into the cases! Best of all is Cliff's nearly continuous music; his performance isn't poor, either. Cast includes Robin Williams, Peter O'Toole, Rick Moranis, Jimmy Cliff, Twiggy, Adolph Caesar, Mary Gross, Simon Jones, and Carey Lowell. (104 minutes, 1986)
Christmas Vacation: The Griswalds have big plans for Christmas this year. Clark has invited a bunch of the relatives over for the big celebration. Clark's efforts go comically wrong, par for the course for a Griswald vacation.
Company of Killers: Gunman (Saxon) performing for Kill Inc. gets to be target for his bosses and the city cops after a key witness is shot down. Bites off more than it can handle. Cast includes Van Johnson, Ray Milland, John Saxon, Brian Kelly, Fritz Weaver, Clu Gulager, Susan Oliver, Diana Lynn, and Robert Middleton. (88 minutes, 1970)
Married To The Mob: Angela deMarco is married to mobster Frank deMarco. When Frank dies, Angela wants to break free of the mob and start anew. Instead she finds herself being followed by the FBI.
