But did you know that with a few minor changes in your approach that you can dramatically increase the number of conversions on your website? First, do not look to get a sale on the first visit. This is one of the biggest mistakes which online marketers make when it comes to getting new customers. No matter how great your offer is there are always going to be people who will not buy the first time around. If you simply try to sell everyone in the beginning you can be assured that you are not going to end up with many conversions. Focus on getting their contact information and getting the sale on the follow up.

It should look more like a step by step process, which can be easy followed: firstly you offer something for free and get contact details and in the end you make your offer and lead a person through buying process.

Then you need to communicate customers the benefits they can get from your products. People care about emotions more than a product itself, so make sure you tell them about how they are going to feel when they will use the product and which problems they can resolve by doing so.

Fourth, you have to make your offer urgent, you can do it by offering some great deals or bonuses. The idea is to make people act now, and not postpone it to another time. We all know how people like putting things off, and you don't want your offer to be one of these things.

Finally, make your call to action clear and explain how exactly people should act. Become an authority in a specific field for your audience and people will be following your advice.
