PPC and Search Engine Optimisation - A Perfect Marriage

PPC or SEO, which one should you use to promote your home based enterprise? Many view Pay per click selling as a colossal waste of cash while others contempt SEO. In truth, the two promoting strategies form a perfect marriage.

PPC - Pay per click

Pay per click promoting is a like it or hate platform. For the "love it" crowd, PPC promoting is a technique to get instant exposure and feedback on site designs. In a matter of minutes, you can begin receiving traffic and adjusting your internet site to convert the traffic at the lowest rate possible. For those in the "hate it" crowd, bids are too high and one never knows exactly how many of the clicks are phony and meaningless.

SEO - SEO

As with Pay per click, S.E.O marketing has its adherents and knockers. Those who like it look at the free traffic and fantastic profitability of a site that converts the traffic at a fair rate. Disparagers view SEO as a pointless waste of time since it can take a year or longer to get excellent rankings, especially on Google. Knockers also argue that high lists are subject to changes in the search engine ranking process, which means you can lose your rankings.

Hence who is right? Honestly, both sides make accurate arguments. PPC is costly and click-fraud is a monstrous problem. S.E.O produces free traffic, however it takes along time to get to the top and rankings are liable to the whims of search website ranking changes. The truth, of course, is both promoting platforms should be used when possible.

Marketing Marriage

Each site is unique, but most should mix PPC and SEO promoting as a part of an overall online marketing system. When starting out, the Pay-per-click campaign is critical for getting fast traffic and tweaking the site to maximise conversions. At the same time, a SEO campaign should be undertaken. As the site rises in search results, the Pay-per-click campaign should be phased out for the applicable high lists.

PAY-PER-CLICK and S.E.O selling are not jointly exclusive. When married together as part of an overall promotional strategy, both platforms will deliver the products.

Viral Marketing is all about giving away your own free product or service together with your ad copy (contact info, link, email, and so on.). In turn, receivers of your free product are able to pass it along to their own clients, prospects, visitors and others as a freebie. This is a fast way to multiple your promoting at no additional cost and without extra effort on your part.
