Can A Long Island Advertising Agency Highlight Facebook's Scrapbook?

By Robert Sutter

If there's one endeavor that all Facebook users engage in, it would be the posting of photos. Many of the photos in question feature family members, which goes without saying, and I am sure that most would agree with such a sentiment. With that said, though, organization has been something of a concern, since an album of countless images can prove to be taxing. With that said, Scrapbook deserves to be observed by many a Long Island advertising agency.

Scrapbook, for those who do not know, works in similar fashion to the way that general Facebook tags do. To illustrate this point, let's say that you take a picture of your child; not only will you want to put the picture on Facebook but you'll want to tag it accordingly. With a specialized tag, that particular photo will be placed in a customizable scrapbook, which can then be shared out to others. To say that this is simple would be an understatement, as any Long Island advertising agency can attest to.

There are a few other aspects of Scrapbook which, in my view, deserve to be covered. For one, you have to consider that Scrapbook is meant to tag children under the age of 13, which I thought was interesting. After all, you have to be at least 13 years of age in order to sign up for a Facebook account. Even though details like these may not interest the average Facebook user, I'd like to think that enthusiasts would be aware of this point.

I believe Scrapbook's most important feature - and I am sure that firms like fishbat will attest to this matter - is its simplicity. I am sure that there are many parents who are unfamiliar with social media, in general, but still may want to get involved. Facebook's interface is one of the friendliest, in this regard, and Scrapbook should translate in kind. This is just one of the many features which, in my view, should draw the attention of any Long Island advertising agency.

There's no doubt that Scrapbook has potential for a number of Facebook users. Parents have the desire to preserve the memories of their children, at early ages, which is why digital media is so fortunate. With that said, though, one has to wonder about the success that Scrapbook can have, which is a point that any social media agency would be wise to observe. In time, I am sure that this particular feature will make Facebook all the more appealing.
