Making life decisions is tough for pretty much everyone. What car should I buy? Where should I move? What major should I pick? What career do I want? Which job should I apply for? Which person should I marry? These are all tough decisions that influence our day-to-day life in significant ways. Here is one example of how thinking through a big decision can help you choose the right path.
He glanced around him, feeling kind of scared, a little tired, and a lot excited-he was surrounded by trees of various sizes and types. It was a forest, but no two trees were the same. He saw a palm tree, a blue spruce, a willow, and an aspen, all within feet of each other. And still, those were not all of the trees he could see.
But, as young adults start researching top jobs and careers, they might run across property management. It is ranked amongst the top jobs for the young and restless (according to CNN Money). A young and restless person might think this could be a promising course of action. So this is what they do.
The first step is a simple Google search. "What is property management?" Definitions will pop up. There is sure to be a Wikipedia page, several blogs, many university websites, and so on. This young person finds out that property managers are kind of like glorified landlords. They are in charge of building leasing, maintenance, equipment, supplies, rent, zoning, etc.
As he reached what he assumed to be his breaking point, he fell on his knees and almost began to cry-then, out of nowhere, suddenly, in the most unexpected of manners, a tiny little man appeared from between the trees. "Henry", he said, "Aren't you supposed to be in your web design class?"
Unless a student from a college in San Marcos lives on campus, they will have to drive to school for every class. They could change every course they have on their schedule at their college in San Marcos to an online one. This still doesn't free them of the responsibility of having a current auto insurance policy when they leave the house. If they were pulled over, the police officer will ask them to provide proof of their insurance.
