For A Look At Our Future, Go To Venezuela

By Anne Trimble

In sequence, events that we never thought what possible in America are happening.

If you want to anticipate the next thing that could never occur in the United States, you only have to look south to Venezuela. The government of Hugo Chavez has devalued Venezuela's currency by 46 %. But that's not all, gold and silver increased in value by a comparable 46%.

At the same time, the value of gold and silver in that country went up by about 46 percent! So, everyone with holdings only in the state's fiat currency immediately lost nearly 50 percent of their purchasing power. But if their holdings were in gold and silver instruments, which we call God's Money, their value rose by about half.

Perhaps you may argue that the United States is not Venezuela, but considering that the present administration is not simply any administration, more power-hungry than any other before it, is it that difficult to imagine that it may very well destroy the economy of the United States?

The Federal Reserve and President Obama don't need Congress's approval to devalue the U.S. dollar in a fell swoop at any time. Their combined policies have been debilitating the currency over the long haul anyway, but there's nothing in the way of their imposing a "Chavez solution" on America as well.

It's only natural to be scared. Our last best hope is to take our refuge in God's Money and in His Word.

We don't enjoy playing the role of "alarmist." But it is the work of a sentinel to wake up the troops.

Do you think the American Revolutionaries in Boston ultimately were happy that Paul Revere warned them of the Redcoats' arrival? Or that the first survivors onboard the lifeboats of the Titanic were grateful that the calls of "Iceberg!" from the crow's nest to the bridge were heard?

At Real Money USA, we have assumed the role of sentinal. And bearing that in mind, we wish to alert our customers and other readers about the very serious scenarios unfolding in our globe.

It's difficult to accept some of the realities that we're sharing with you these days. Sea changes in history, and in the tide of human affairs, usually begin that way. Many people who have seen the shape of approaching things have made the same kind of desperate assessment of their present and their future and have understood that their world would never be the same
