When you think about video games, I'm sure that there are a number of subjects that pop into mind. Usually, there are plots which involve saving princess, fighting in wars, or taking hold of riches that you desire so much. Regardless of what the case may be, these are fantasy-like settings and there aren't many other games which seem to fit this mindset. You have to wonder if a job like a Long Island accountant would be able to work its way into a gaming title.
Video games where you have to work real-life jobs may not be typical but they have been sthe world. "Trauma Center," to name one instance, has given people the chance to do surgery on people in the virtual world. You work in a situation where I can only describe it as being akin to "Operation." In essence, you work to help a person's ailment by removing the source and it's one of the games were you feel less like a superhero and more like a real person.
There also games which are more mainstream where gamers can work jobs that are common to real life. One of the more popular names is "Farmville" and it seems like just about anyone who has a Facebook account has, at the very least, tried this game out. As a result, it has climbed in popularity but I would be lying if I said that I didn't think it was very deep. For others, though, the lack of depth may be all the more reason to continue coming back.
A game about a Long Island accountant can actually come about easily if the right mindset is right behind it. "Farmville" has become a title that many people were captivated by and I believe that the subject played only a fraction of a part on the issue. I think that it's important to look at qualities like looks and gameplay in order to stretch that level of appeal out to much greater distances. Who's to say that companies such as Diapoules & Feinstein CPAs P.C. wouldn't be better for it?
I always viewed video games as an interesting subject because of the creativity that they seem to boast. Creativity is something that I appreciate when it comes to these titles, especially when they can create something out of a subject which was thought to have had nothing. A Long Island account position brims with potential but how many developers are going to be able to tap into said potential? Those who can do so may just see that their effort is worth it.
