Plumbing Perris- How to Clean Out a Main Drain

If you clean inside the block sites that could house and drains, but have yet to save water in your home, your main drain - the drain that leads to his home city sewer - can be blocked. If the main drain was clogged with tree roots, there is little you can do to remove them without damaging the main drain pipe - it is necessary to call a professional plumber. But if the main drain is clogged with trash, you might be able to remove it with a plumbers snake to rent or buy.

Step 1: Locate the main drain cleaning doors. These are short, stubby tubes that branch off the main exhaust pipe angle "Y" connector with a plastic cap or steel, which is the square on the right, and can be placed in the basement or floor space. Some homes may have access to these ports in the pantry or garage outside the house along the foundation. Just follow the pipes in sight until it finds them.

Step 2: have a waste bucket handy to catch any overflow that comes from the main drain cleaning. Spread a tarp, old towels or plastic sheeting around the main drain and to help contain any spills.

Step 3: Loosen the cork comes out clean with a wrench. Saving water is likely to flow as you open it. Continue loosening gradually to control the flow of water. When the water has stopped, you can remove the cover.

Step 4: Insert the auger head by a snake through the power main drain cleaning and plumbing in the main drain. Feed into the drain pipe as far as you can until you feel resistance - this is a signal of hooves.

Step 5: Follow the manufacturer's instructions for operation of the supply pipe. You should feel the vibration as it passes through the hooves.

Step 6: Continue to limit the power of the screw in the cable length, cutting the blocks as you go. Pull the entire length of the cord and back to the main tube going in the opposite direction.

Step 7: Cut the clogs as you encounter them.

Step 8: Replace the drain plug cleaning. Make sure it is snug and secure.

Step 9: Flush the toilet several times to check and make sure that no additional reinforcements in the system.
