Split-testing your landing page can help you in lots of ways when you want to raise your conversion rate and get as much as possible from your page.

Shouldn't your landing page force visitors into thinking that they need to take early action? Not totally. Most of the time, the more urgency that exists in your landing page, the more likely it is that you will increase your conversion rate. Does your landing page include some sort of bonus offer or incentive to purchasing right now? This is something to think about because when used properly, urgency can really raise your results; but when it isn't, it can really hurt you.

If you're promoting or selling products that are similar in nature, do a split-test to see if a variety of different products work well on your one landing page or if it is better to have one product per landing page to get better results. Ultimately, your aim with the landing page is to get conversions, and either ways, you will see that your conversion rate is increasing or decreasing. So make sure you analyze this important factor and if it works to sell multiple products do that and if selling just one product gets better results do that.

There are many Internet marketing experts that claim that you can invariably increase the conversion rate of your landing page by simply adding a welcoming audio message. While this may help you with your conversions, you will have to test it out on your page because there are times when people don't like having any audio on entering a site. So depending on the niche that you're targeting, this may or may not work in your favor. The same goes for video on landing pages that is used to welcome the visitor and explain the offer. In terms of figuring out whether or not to include media on your landing page, you shouldn't do anything if you haven't run all of the proper tests.
