Provide them with the resources that they need and watch them grow better in their career. This will then lead them to become better employees thus giving your company better production rates as well as a more intimate connection among colleagues. Prior to being a people person, you also need to learn how to listen to your staff as this will help you gauge their needs and what must be done on your part. As well, encouragement and motivation can greatly help them at work.

Always acknowledge a good deed and effort If you want to become a good manager then you should also learn how to acknowledge efforts for a good job done. This will motivate as well as inspire them to repeat the good things theyve done for the company. At the same time, you would also want to acknowledge the efforts of those who have tried but failed. With this, your colleagues can further enhance their resources and skills and try again until they can achieve a more positive result.

Be a good example What simpler way to show your colleagues that you are a great manager by showing them a good example. Being a manager involves mostly supervising your team however there are also other tasks which you as a manager should do. Simply carrying out your designated task effectively, timely and properly should already show a good example to your staff. Never show that you are lazy as this will be followed by others. Show them a winning attitude and they will sure to follow.
