Was your home business that true wealth blessing?

By John Wallen

This is what is happening as the home business industry grows. Most of the people have never had any experience in owning a affiliate position with a company. They are comming into a very different world, and all though change can be a very positive thing, they look at the opportunity as something that will save them from what ever it is they are ailing from, like debt.

They start off eager and wanting to learn quickly. Every comfort zone is tested. Then a few months goes past, and that's when it sinks in, no results worth mentioning. This is happening because of the very fact that, every bit of information given them to start their business with, is completely wrong. And know that fast running current of hope and energy, is now a stagnant puddle.

This is no fault of theirs, you cannot make progress and attain a good starting income doing those things they were told to do. But this goes on all the time, failure they are told is not an option. No, it is what happens, and it is not the new commers fault. Their doing what they think is the right way.

Is this the way it's playing out for you? Let me just say, I have been their and wasted a lot of money when I first started also. But I tell you one thing, I got educated quickly as to what doesn't work at all, so I have no regrets there. I don't have to second guess what to do with my business opportunity or product.

I log on to company seminars that are on the internet about their opportunity. And to many times it's like a repeat of the last company. Postcards to warm list's, that's very expensive and I did not get one result. I made thousands of calls over time, and it only made me broke buying leads. We can easily get tunnel vision sometimes at the hands of someone else.

I'm not looking for a magic button when I sit in on these webcasts, or when I'm reading some new material I have come across. I'm just looking for even just one new idea I can put to use. But most of the time I'm seeing the same old marketing strategies thrown out there, and people that are new don't know any better.

So many home business opportunities are put together so well, and have a chance to really get it done. But there will be way to much turnover ratio with new reps. And they say that's just normal. I firmily stand my ground and tell you that's because there's no marketing system these new reps are using that has been proven to work!
