The Art of Food and Wine Palm Desert is currently going into its fourth year. It is a fair that is held in Southern California's Coachella Valley. This year, the said event will happen from the fifth to the eight of November. Increase your culinary skills with the spectacular chef demonstrations and seminars, while celebrating and letting your tongue taste the various featured foods and wine. Of course, there are also the craft shows, the art exhibits and music!
I have fond memories from the show last year, and it was amazing! There were several new events that will hopefully be on the lineup again this year. One of the events was called "Food Flight!" - a friendly competition that featured local chefs and bartenders partnered with celebrity chefs and master sommeliers. I envied those who got a taste of the entries, as some of the best food and drinks were served there.
Another event was called "Sweet Dreams", and is a nightcap event that featured sweet desserts, wines, champagne, and other after-hour drinks by the poolside. The event was held in the Desert Springs JW Marriott Resort and Spa, and the ambience of the place made you just want to sit back and relax. The desserts and drinks were satisfying, but not too heavy, which is just perfect for after dinner.
Of course, the Art of Food and Wine cannot be completed without its signature event. The Grand Tasting featured elite vintners and celebrity chefs, who promised to amaze guests with their sophisticated array of recipes and demonstrations. Event attendees will be delighted at all the samples that they can taste throughout the event for absolutely free.
This year promises to be just as good as the last, and going over would be a good way to reward your taste buds. And if you ever want to take a quick break from all the tasting, then you could of course visit the arts and crafts show; here you will find pieces that are inspired by the amazing sensation of good dining.
