Whether you are a MLM pro or just taking that big step, you can not afford to dismiss the incredible possibilities that are opening up because of the World Wide Web. I have worked with, trained and coached 100's of wonderful people in MLM and have made some revolutionary discoveries over the past several years with the emerging of online marketing and MLM recruiting.
MLM is often a challenging business and I for one do not like to see anyone not succeed. For the most part, someone has to work hard and long, selling products and recruiting people for weeks and months consistantly before one has any chance of earning a substantial income. In other words, a MLM business can often be just as tough to operate as a brick and mortar businesses.
It is true that few people make a lot of money in MLM and network marketing. Most often, however, these are people who have an excess of energy, wildly optimistic, and resources to spare. Most of us obviously do not fall into this class, which explains why many do not reach the network marketing goals that they set for themselves.
There is something very frightening about doing everything yourself when it comes to a sales pitch and especially so when you are applying it to family and friends. You probably do not want to pressure the people closest to you to support you, but you also want them to get involved in what you do as well. Equally difficult to do is cold recruiting, and when you simply strike up a sales pitch with just about anyone who will listen, even complete strangers. Some people can do all these things, but the vast majority of network marketers find it difficult to do so. So what do the other 95% of us do to be successful?
The New Network Marketing: Build Your Network Online!
Fortunately for many of us, a proven alternative exists to the hard work of what I call "old school" network marketing: online network marketing. In the intensely impersonal atmosphere of the internet, it becomes possible to avoid some of the social problems that often come with the network marketing turf.
One of the great advantages of online network marketing is that you suddenly have the ability to do what I call "residual recruiting" meaning, generate one piece of recruiting material such as an article, blog, or video and have it on the internet recruiting for you forever! That is powerful my friend. Whereas in the real world you are limited to making a few sales or getting a few recruits a day and having to invest that same time and effort again and again to get results. However over the internet, your potential is practically limitless. With a global audience at your fingertips, you are more than certain to attract people whom you will find it easy to work with and have already signed off on your opportunity or product.
In online network marketing, the hardest thing you will probably have to do is set up a capture page with auto responders. I get you started below. The capture page will contain all the information that you usually include in a presentation, which means that you won't have to do any personal meetings yourself, if you chose to. You can choose to spend your time and energy with your recruits that are eager to build a business, instead of every Joe that wants to kick the tires. The auto responder, on the other hand, will make sure that you won't have to spend unnecessary time answering routine correspondence, again freeing up your time for more productive activities like creating more residual recruiting material to find prospects for you!
When I moved my network marketing business from the old school mindset of walking and talking etc. to the internet one of the first things I realized was that my time was now being spent talking to people that were not prospects, but with people that had already signed up with me through my auto responders and other internet funnels. Now I was talking to someone that was in the business and ready to start the business with excitement with my help. It is nice to have people coming to you ready to learn and build there business instead of you go after people that have no interest what so ever. Cheers!
