Things To Know Within Article Marketing

By Megan Forbes

Make sure your email list is content heavy. Spam is so hated that there are actually laws against it, so make sure your audience views your emails as another way to get to your site and get the content they need, not an annoyance. If you fail to do this, you will lose subscribers and, therefore, lose potential customers.

After you have been writing a while, you are sure to have developed a body of work - many, many articles spread out across the internet. Gather some of your best articles together in an eBook that you can sell or give away as a promotion for your product or service. If your eBook is good, it will get shared generously, and that will mean more business for you!

Write yourself deep into your article. Including aspects of your personality and originality appeals to your audience more than a dryly written article pushing a product. Be honest with your writing, and let your own style shine through. Your readers will appreciate the effort, and are more likely to return.

Take advantage of social media along with its latest seo guidelines! Using your Facebook or Twitter accounts can be a great way to grab new readers. Simply post an update every time you publish a new article to get your followers' attention. You can even ask them to share your article with friends, in order to grow an even larger amount of eyes.

When you write for article marketing purposes, never split your article over multiple pages. This practice is tempting, because more pages means more territory for advertisements and search engine optimization keywords. The benefits are outweighed by the annoyance multi-page articles cause to readers. At the very least, include a prominent link in your article that lets readers see the whole thing on one page.

If you believe your article marketing strategy requires more exposure for your articles, consider buying in to an article distribution service. These services save you a lot of effort by automatically submitting your articles to thousands of directories. They are not free, though; make sure that increasing your article distribution is worth the money you spend.

Make your articles lead readers to a next step. Even though readers wish for a solution in 5 steps, they know one article is not going to really have all the answers. Before writing your article, identify the next step you want your readers to take. Build that into your article and lead them right into your sales funnel, with the promise of better things to come.
