The purpose of human resource management is enhancing the productivity of employees and improving the efficiency of all business operations that an organization has. Human resource management is responsible to handle activities like employment analysis, employment, training and development (T&D), employee affairs, performance monitoring and reward management to increase the employee performance.

Different implementation plans and methods should be used for above practices according to the way that a business runs. Here are some ways to execute them correctly in any business firm.

Job analysis - It is important to analyze and recognize every job before recruit people. Understanding the level of qualifications, experiences need, performance evaluation methods and training needs are vital for every job profile. It is also important to inform workers that what their responsibilities and duties are. For an example, if an organization needs a short-term productivity increase, it is better to hire experienced people by reducing the cost of training and development as well as performance evaluations. However, the job analysis is influenced by the organizational strategies and goals.

Recruiting employees - HRM is liable to recruit correct employees for all job positions. They have various methods to find potential candidates. Some popular methods are job banks, vacancy advertisements, job fairs and recruiting agents. Online recruitment is also getting popular among many business firms because there are many opportunities to find talented employees through social networks and online job banks. Business firms in countries like India use these online recruiting methods very often because of the proven benefits they give.

Training and development - Increasing people's skills can be done only through proper training and development procedures. When skills are increasing, productivity is increasing. On-the-job training and separate training sessions or workshops are the main methods available for training and development. Firms use internal trainers or external trainers to conduct their training programs.

Dealing with employees - It is important to provide good working background for every employee if you need to get the maximum from them. This is another HRM responsibility. Procedures for effective information exchange and conflict resolution are necessary to build strong relationships with workers. These things will help you to improve the productivity.

Performance monitoring - It is important to monitor employee performances to check whether they work for organization goals. Appropriate compensation process should be implemented to motivate people to work effectively. Performance monitoring can be done through various methodologies like Ranking Method, Forced Distribution method, the checklist method and critical Incident technique.

Reward management - If the company satisfies their employees with monetary and non-monetary rewards, all will work for the development of the organization. Therefore, human resource management is responsible to satisfy employees through compensation management. Organizations with innovative business plans should give more rewards than organizations with cost control plans.
