Desk Size Matters A Lot - How big is your office desk? Does it hold your computer and nothing else? If that is the case, then you need to buy a bigger desk as soon as possible. My advice is to get a desk that will hold your computer, day planner, equipment and anything else that you need throughout the day. The reason you need a bigger desk is because getting up to find or use something will take away from your actual work time.
Face Desk Away From Door - This may seem like a pointless tip but it really does work. Make sure you face your desk away from the door in your office and the reason is because you will be tempted to walk out if you are looking at the door. What I would suggest is that you place the desk in a way where you look at the center of the room instead.
