Your Dealership Needs Its Own Car Dealer Carwash

By Edward Snyder

As a new dealer of fine cars and small trucks, you must concern yourself with quality and the representation of it in everything you do. That means you need to have a nice display floor and appropriate offices and cubicles for clients to be situated in. You should have a lounge area or people to wait and a coffee machine for those who need a quick pick me up. You should also consider installing a car dealer carwash.

That car wash on your property will assist in many ways to improve your reputation and in making you more of a community member. The first reason is, of course, providing clean cars for purchase. People like to buy cars and small trucks that are clean. This, alone, will help pay for itself over a fairly short amount of time.

Another vital reason is for looking at the trade ins that come in all of the time. In many cases, problems with a trade in will be hidden if the car is dirty. By running it through a car wash, you can often see some of these. This is especially true if the wash does a nice job of the undercarriages. You will be able to see what that oil is there from.

Getting the car clean after normal servicing will also help your clients know you respect them. Taking their vehicle through a wash, after it has been worked on will remove the largest amount of debris that may have accumulated during the time it was being worked on. This will help everyone see a beautiful car and will help the owner know they can trust your service again.

During the normal times of down time for your lot, you could open it up to the public. This will generate a few dollars of revenue per month. It can also show people that you have an option for them that might be closer to them than the car wash down the street. This is a way get more people onto your lot to see the offerings you have for them.

You can set up arrangements with other dealers in your area to come and use it for their vehicles. This can also be used as a promotion and or offered as an item for a church raffle or auction. This will help your community standing as a caring place of business, which can bring in more business.

The need for a bay large enough to clean certain parts removed from a car that is being serviced, such as body panels, to be cleaned is very real. A large enough washing area can be used to help the local firemen wash their trucks. This would be a nice thing for them as they would ordinarily have to bring out their hoses and scrub the vehicles with cloths and brushes.

Making sure that you have the facilities and services to keep all of the cars and trucks you offer clean is a great idea. Making a couple of dollars by using this tool to help others is also a great way to be noticed. Drawing people to it through using it in any one or more of a lot of different ways will help you do both.
