I Was Thrilled To Find A Fantastic Website That Sold American Made Kid Products

By Lew O. Morissette

I take great pride in my country and so whenever I can, I try to buy products that are made in the United States, and with all of the problems that have come up with toys made out of the country, I am always extra careful about buying American made kid products whenever I can. Of course, for a long time, I thought that the sole way to discover where items were made was to go through each item and check the bottom of each toy, or the tags of each piece of clothing.

I tried to do this whenever I went shopping, but it was a pretty daunting task and a lot of times I just didn't have the time to check everything, so after a while, I gave up and felt a little guilty about it. I didn't think there was anything I could do about this problem, until one day when I was talking with a neighbor about some new toys made in Asia that used lead, and was a huge danger to our children.

The friend I was chatting with agreed with me that it is a good idea to only buy American made kid products since they have high standards for quality, and they also support the national economy. What she said next was that there was a website that sold products made in the U.S. that were wonderful for kids of all ages and were of very high quality.

I was very excited about this information and I told her so, and asked her where I could find the website since my son's birthday was coming up and I wanted to get him something great. She was more than happy to write down the web address for me, so I went home and jumped on my computer to try to find out more about these American made toys and see if I could find a good present for my son.

As I searched through the selection, I was very pleased with the variety of items available and started putting things into my virtual shopping cart at a pretty steady rate. After about an hour of browsing through the website, I took a look at my virtual shopping cart and was surprised to see that I had several dozen toys in the cart, which was obviously more than I needed. It was hard, but I managed to narrow down the selection to a more sensible amount, and then I placed my order and arranged for them to be delivered to my address. I loved the look of pure excitement on his face when he saw his new toys, and I could not have been happier with my find.
