When Home Feels Better With Window Cleaning

By Ryan Wagner

Some days people just want to relax and feel the comfort that homes provide, like no other. How good that must feel to many busybodies. How better it will be, if the the parts of the house you usually would be at, most of the time, is clean enough for comfort, especially the windows. They are one of the first things that people notice when they enter a house.

Make your plans, take enough time and schedule it. Window cleaning involves getting dirty, so you have to be prepared for that, and maybe do it at a day when would not have to come to work. Choose a cloudy day, when the sun is not out to hit it directly, because its rays will cause some streaks.

Every little dust, smudge, and our nose print one winter day, are on them. Getting them off may prove to be a challenge, but with enough time and helpful tools made for cleaning them, it should be good. You know every store provides so many materials for cleaning windows. Just avoid too much chemical and solutions. This can leave residue that is even harder to take off.

Get a large pot or bucket already filled with clean water. You will have to add drops of dish washing soap solution. Go free on the water without flooding it. This is because you would want the dirt coming off. You place a bath towel beneath, or a large damp cloth to catch the spill this will cause.

In going over the surface, use some clean sponge or a microfiber cloth. Start working your way down to the bottom from the top. Do not forget your frames. Wipe them from the inside out. You can avoid spills by placing a bath towel beneath it. Be careful not to rub the dirt on them because this will scratch the glass material.

To catch spills and dripping, prevent the mess by placing an absorbent cloth beneath, along each sill, before you go cleaning. Wet the pane with vinegar and water solution using a sponge, but be careful not to drench it too much. After this, you can gently rub away the dirt.

Removing and cleaning screens also keeps the windows clean and in good shape once you clean the inside and outside parts. Vacuum them to take off dirt and dust. Wipe them with warm water solution with vinegar or even just dish soap, using a sponge.

If you want a good finish, go ahead and dry the glass with the crumpled newspaper. The ink on it adds for a good sparkle on the panes. Some windows get dirty unusually very fast. This could be because modern airtight homes have the ability to trap dust and other unwanted elements that are hard to get rid of.

It would be safe to say that this task is generally something that most people hate because of all the dirt involved. Plus the dripping water and streaks that can prove to be so annoying. T You can just go for the steps that you find easier to work with. After all, those are your windows. You would know how best to maintain it, and let the sunshine in.
