The Effectiveness Of A Mole Removal Cream

By Angela Popovici

Every person has a mole present somewhere on their body. The number of moles would however vary from individual to individual. Moles may at times become irritating when they become a hindrance in the daily activities like shaving. Their constant rubbing on the clothes or against jewelry can also become a source of irritation. In instances like these one often goes for mole removal.

Moles can be removed by using one of the many available options. They are usually divided into three groups. The first category is surgical removal. The other two types are the various mole removal products and the home remedies. The cost of the surgical removal is very high and in addition to it, it also leaves behind a scar. The natural remedies usually take a lot of time to give results. These are the reasons due to which removing moles using mole removal creams has gained popularity.

Prior to removing the moles using a mole removal cream, it is important to ensure that the mole which you are going to remove is not malignant. If you observe the mole to turn irregular in shape or if it starts bleeding all of a sudden then you need to get the mole examined by a doctor. There are chances that it might be cancerous. Removing such a mole using mole removal products is not at all advisable.

One of the most important benefits that such a method of removal provides is that one can implement it from the comfort of their home. Additionally it is a lot cheaper in comparison to the surgical method. One can easily remove eight to ten moles at a time using such a cream.

Prior to applying the cream, it is essential to clean the mole and the area that surrounds it. Scratching the mole by using a needle or a pumice is the next step. The reason behind doing such a thing is that the formula would be able to easily penetrate through the layers of the skin. This helps to accelerate the process of removal of the mole. The cream can then be applied on the mole. The stinging sensation thus felt indicates that the cream has started doing its work. The mole should be scratched a little more if such a sensation is not experienced.

The creams to remove moles are usually applied at night. They are left as it is overnight for it to work effectively. A band-aid is usually put on it so that the cream does not get rubbed off when one is asleep. It can be washed off in the morning. The mole is eventually turned into a scab. This scab then falls off within some days. The scab should be left to fall on its own.

Taking proper post removal care is important. The area where the mole was present turns red once the scab falls off. This heals within a period of a month. However this area should be kept protected. It should not be left exposed to the sun.
