Tall Maternity Jeans Hug Like A Glove And Look Chic

By Ashley Welch

Above average height women who are pregnant frequently have difficulties locating jeans that provide a comfortable fit. As baby grows so does the mother's and her dimensions are somewhat unpredictable. The tall maternity jeans must be designed so that they grow with the mother in the places that need room to grow. They must also support the extra weight that the mother is putting on. With all this growth the length of the pants will shorten. The length must somehow be kept the same.

The design for the bluejeans must allow for self correcting as the contours of the body change. The designer can provide for this in the cut of the bluejeans as well as the type of stretch provided. Adding longer hems will help too.

There are custom made bluejeans available online that will fit the tall pregnant mother to be like a glove. They will provide a snug fit of 94% cotton and 6% Spandex. There is enough cotton in the weave for sufficient breathability while still providing the necessary support for almost a year's worth of wear.

Name brands are not as important as feeling and looking good. There is no point in spending a lot of money on a name brand but feeling uncomfortable. Many name brand designers have not prioritized comfort of fit for the taller expectant mother.

A good website will supply a size chart where the client has specific instructions as to how to measure oneself. Some pants in the online stores have been designed by pregnant mothers themselves who know how to improve the design of the bluejeans. They understand how their bodies benefited from improvements in the basic cut of the jeans.

Often a tall woman is slender in the legs but when she finds her correct inseam length the bluejeans are still too big. The designers have assumed that tallish women are wider and heftier. This is not always the case. A size chart indicating the lower hip size as well as the high hip provides a much better guide for women to pinpoint their pregnancy size pants. Not every woman who is the same height will expand the same way.

Tall maternity jeans were not something women wore fifty years' ago. Women had to be content wearing basically a large A-line jumper that hid her pregnant condition. In today's contemporary mindset, pregnant women should be able to wear what they want. The time has come for tallish women to also wear what they please during this special time in their life.
