Top 5 activities that are a must do in Plettenberg Bay.

Adventure land is a haven for kids in Plettenberg Bay. This is a great place to entertain children on weekends and school holidays. The park offers a 75m super tube, a 25m mini super tuber, a raging rapid tube, a Kamakazee slide and a 12m free fall slide. For the younger ones mini versions of the free fall and Kamakazee slide are available that lead into a separate baby pool for safety. Braai facilities are also available on the premises along with trampolines, jungle gyms and swings. The children will not want to leave.

At affordable prices a visit to the Noah's Park Wolf Sanctuary is a must. There is a diverse collection of wildlife and farmyard animals here that will keep both adults and children alike entertained. Gaze into a wolves eyes, begin to understand the awesome nature of this magnificent animal, identify the unique coats of the African wild dog and appreciate the intelligence of the Black Backed Jackal. Human interaction with the farm animals is allowed. The park also offers light meals and refreshments, picnic areas and wheelchair accessibility. So bring the family and make a day of it.

The Harkerville Saturday Market is a big attraction with the locals and tourists. The Harkerville Market has been going on for 10 years now and is known to be a market with a difference. It's not exactly a flea market nor a farmers market or a craft market, but is a combination of all three. A tasty breakfast is served under the trees so bring you friends and family for a morning catch up. The market runs every Saturday from 8 am till noon. There is ample parking and loads to look at and taste.

A must do for the older crowd is to go to The Lookout Restaurant and Deck for cocktails. This hot spot hang out offers superb views of the beach. During whale season you can laze around on the deck and watch the whales swimming by. The restaurant does not only serve delicious cocktails but also tasty snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

For the "adrenalin junkies" Skydiving is a great sport. Get your hearts pumping when you jump 10,000 feet out of a plane with a 35 second rush. This is truly a beautiful place to experience this. The trip starts with a 20 minute flight climbing 10,000 feet and for those not to nervous enjoy the great views of Knysna forest and the coastline before the big jump. Safety is a first priority and your instructors are highly experienced.
