Apple has hit the jackpot with their long line of personal media players. The name IPod has practically become synonymous with mp3 player. Love them or hate them on principal the fact remains they have become quite popular and a number one seller.

Pros
The IPod 4 GB mp3 mini player is light and transferable for the individual on the go. It will save between 66- 133 hours of music dependent on selected speed and has the great user interface that IPod is renowned for.
Cons
Battery rating looks to be something of a subject with the mp3 mini player. This mp3 mini player is really hard drive based so although Apple may declare the unit as an ideal jogging mate, don't do it! Hard drives indicate one thing, moving parts that may be damaged by your moving parts. When you take the mp3 mini player jogging and it stops or quits you may be out of luck with the company service contract.
Several people had problems with freezing up. Calls to customer service ended up with leaving the player alone until the battery dies, charge it and try again. Not real encouraging to customers.

The above stated problems happened with a small percentage of the customers who purchased a 4 GB mp3 mini player from IPod. Other customers were quite happy with the performance and function of this media player.
