Let me tell you something. Let me be real frank with you. Where's Dr. Bill? Is he in the room? Oh, he isn't here because -- dang! I would like him to hear this. Okay. Allow me to tell you what I am passionate about. I'm passionate about sitting on a white sandy beach in a hammock with actress Jessica Alba stroking my hair. I'm so passionate about it that I wanted him to hear this because he might hook me up with her! Haha! That is what I am passionate about, but I have yet to figure out how I am going to make any money out of that and pay the mortgage.
Do you know what else what I'm passionate about? I reside here in Vegas. I go to all the UFC fights, all of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Anyone like the UFC? I got Randy Couture in one of my boot camps. I love the UFC. I'm going to tell you something I know for sure. If I get in the Octagon with Randy Couture or any of these other guys no matter how passionate I am, I'm going to get my ass kicked.
I am passionate. I love that. I go to all the fights. Man, I am just like a teenage girl screaming for the Jonas Brothers. I love that stuff. I am so pumped up, right? I just love mixed martial arts stuff. I know for sure, I don't care how excited and passionate I am, or how enthusiastic I am, or how much my attitude is positive, if I go in the ring, I am going to get beat up night after night. It takes more than that to make money in this business.
Myth #9: The myth is "Have a positive attitude, follow your passion and do what you love, and the money will follow."
Here's a foundation for wealth attraction. Money is nothing more than a symbol -- ready for this -- of your current three things: mindset, skill set, and then get off your assets. I'm doing a whole book with the publisher based on these three concepts. It is a three book deal. The first book is -- and I'm talking it is a wealth book. It is all based on the three things that make you wealthy. Mindset, it is not about positive attitude. It is not about sitting in a lotus disposition going "I hope money flows into my window in my living room and goes in my pocket." That is not how it works for me. I tried it. I'm not kidding.
I have sat there, and I tried it. My bill still shows up in a physical form meaning a sheet of paper, and my bill still needs paid with physical dollars in my bank account. I do not care how much I wish and try to hope for and think positively about it. It is about mindset, how you wake up every day and think about what you are doing for your business. It is about how you position yourself strategically to get folks, meeting coordinators to pick you over someone else who has on the same topic. Got it?
Then, it is a skill set. What are you doing every day, every week, every month, every year to connect onto the mindset? You have got to have the skills. That is what I'm going to give you. I'm trying to give you the mindset here then I will give you the skill set. Then, I am going to be all over you to get off your assets and use this stuff. Got it? Good. Okay. I want you to do well. You can do well. It is not that difficult. You have just got to do some things the right way.
