The Dos and Donts In a California Craft Fair

By Sive Iver

A hobby is something that we enjoy and love to do this is something that we can profit from. But this alone will not made work we need to help it out by displaying our product in a craft show. For beginners it is helpful to know what the dos and donts are.

In starting a small business you will start off experimenting on what will work for you. So it is best to start small, meaning start with a small investment and gradually increase when you can see how your business is going. Small investments are good and easy to reach a break even in the end.

When you are looking for a place where you can display your products, it is best to look for craft shows within your area. You will not spend as much gas moving around when the craft show is just within your area. The time traveling from one location to another will also be in minimal.

Do a lot of research about the craft show that you are planning to attend to. Inquire about their track record if the craft show already has a history. If not then inquire on how they plan to over come challenges in promoting their first time craft show. You can also visit some of their craft show just to see the flow of customer and vendors.

Craft show fees are for the space you will display your goods. These fees will sometimes come with a free table and chair but you need to verify this with the event organizer. It is never good to assume that they will know what you need and provide you with the materials. You have to let them know what you need.
