After you remove the brushes from the channels, clean the armature shaft area then install new brushes as well as their springs. Remove voltage regulators and install new ones. Then, using an ohmmeter, ensure that diodes are receiving proper current then replace the plastic covers and resistors then put Dynamo back to the vehicle. Reconnect all electrical leads, replace the belt, reinstall the cleaner and inspect whether the heat shield of the dynamo is okay and finally reinstall the battery leads.
