These grow crops and keep animals on a small scale for domestic purposes only. The more serious counterparts keep a lot of crops and animals for commercial purposes. They are sold on the market for their valuable products.
Other very important materials are also obtained from the ground. Things such as metals, wood and timber are all products of the earth. Almost all the things that we use in homes and industries are made from these materials. Oil is one of the biggest and most dear resources known to man. It is also extracted from the ground or massive water bodies.
Finally we have air, this one material is the most unique of them all. This is due to the fact that unlike the rest, air is intangible in nature. One cannot see air they can only feel its effects on the skin or in nature. It is also the most elusive resource ever. It is however abundantly available in nature and comes at no extra cost.
It is composed of oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and the famous rare gases. Oxygen is the most important to human since we breath it in for respiratory and eventually assimilation purposes.
