You Need Traffic To Your Internet Site? Stop All The B.S.

By Evelyn Myers

Skyrocketing organic traffic traffic is easy

They'll come if you develop it

Blah, blah, blah

If we were to supply even more traffic to our site, we'd reinforce our sales, I believe it's safe to make it clear that we all jumped into that crap. On the surface, it seems sensible. Judging that concept a little bit better under a miniscule lens, it doesn't hold up.

I can not begin to tell you precisely how often I have actually talked to company owners who had really managed to drive huge amounts of visitors to their web sites. The issue was the traffic was not changing into sales. The elephant in the room at this juncture is, why isn't the traffic converting.

The absolute best place to start is by appraising the quality of traffic that's currently visiting your internet site. My mom instructed me to never ever presume. Well mom, please excuse me, I am going to take the leap into the dark and do so at any rate. I'm going to make the assumption that you have Google Analytics on your internet site which you can track where your traffic is originating.

If for some odd reason you are not presently tracking the traffic coming to your website, shame on you. The more you understand about your traffic and what your website visitors are doing the better off you will be.

If you're presently tracking your traffic, start by seeing where your traffic is coming from. If you find that the bulk of traffic is coming from a PAY-PER-CLICK project you are running as an example, you have 2 alternatives:

1. Take a look at your Pay per click projects quality scores. If you happen to have a low score, modify your landing page.
2. You can double check your keywords and tweak them too.

At the close of the day it comes down to tracking your traffic, and making sure it is targeted. Split test different landing pages, headlines, products, etc. It all boils down to testing, testing and more testing.

So get out there and start testing now.
