You can get paid for anything. If you take something that you're passionate about and then work out how you can teach that to others, you could make an income stream. If you truly love practicing yoga, then become a yoga instructor. If you are good at getting results from a workout and if like to help others, become a fitness instructor. Maybe if you're skilled at meditation you can create a meditation CD or a book of meditation techniques to sell. Then, you can offer one-on-one meditation coaching to teach high-level executives who are under a lots of stress learn how to de-stress and to create more balance in their lives.
These are all examples of how to turn something you are good at into a career. There is always a way you to create something you are passionate about into something profitable. What are you passionate about in your life? That passion can make you money as you help other people find the same joy you have in pursuit of your passion.
KEY #4 Invest In Yourself
I believe that all of the information you need to be wealthy, achieve more, and be more successful is out there, but you have to go get it. That is why the fourth key is to invest in yourself. If you want to grow your business, grow your life, and ultimately develop a prosperity-conscious mindset, then you need to invest in yourself.
All the rich, top achievers have mentors and coaches. Tiger Woods, the best golfer in the world, has a coach. Michael Jordan, the best basketball player in the history of the game, always had a coach. Billionaires like Warren Buffet as well as Bill Gates-they all have coaches. If it's good enough for the best of the best, then why isn't it good enough for you? You don't necessarily need a coach who works with you one-on-one each day, every week, or even a couple times a month. Mentors and coaches can come in the form of books, CDs, and seminars that you attend.
There are five areas that are responsible for moving you from where you are now to where you will be in the future. The only way to go from you are to somewhere more successful down the road is to pay attention to and invest in these five areas:
1. The books you read.
2. The lectures that you hear and the seminars that you attend.
3. The people that you meet.
4. What you listen to. (I'm not talking about music. I mean self-help and motivational audio and CDs.)
5. The shows, videos, as well as DVDs that you watch. (Not the reruns of Beverly Hills 90210 or soap operas. I am talking about educational DVDs, learning videos, as well as inspirational stories.)
Getting the most out of each area requires some investment. You have to invest in books; you have to invest in the seminars you attend. Take the time to choose the right people to be in your life to influence you or serve as mentors. My cousin was a mentor to me. Of course, I did not pay him. I just watched what he did, how he talked, and how he lived his life. I also watched whom he aligned himself with and who he chose to avoid.
You could walk into any bookstore, pick up a wealth creation book, and learn from a rich person who has a prosperity-conscious mindset just by reading the twelve-dollar book that he wrote. That's the reason why I always say you're not purchasing a book-you are investing in yourself. I've got so much admiration and respect for anybody reading this series "You Can Achieve More Than Ever Before" because you made the choice to invest in this book series. Notice I didn't say that you bought or purchased it. I guarantee that if you keep reading these books again and again, they'll bring back to you and attract to you more wealth than any amount you invested in this course.
