Domestic Helper Jobs-Countries That Offer Premium Domestic Helper Jobs

By Alice Sy

Finding Domestic Helper Jobs should be rewarding if you are looking at the right place. Work abroad has always been associated with burden but if you are working in a beautiful country, paid accordingly and have your rights respected, this shouldn't be the case. For helper jobs, you get more than what other professionals are getting in other nations, only in these places.

Imagine sharing equal rights with other workers, from the salary to the vacations. Brazil offers employees 41 paid leaves and are strict in ensuring the implementation of the minimum wage even to domestic workers. The domestic helper should have peace of mind knowing that under a legal contract required by law to the employer, employee rights should be honored and the benefits assured.

Domestic helper jobs should be looked highly upon in some countries in Europe too based on the beyond the usual salary for domestic employment. That's USD$1046.49 in Greece and 1, 829USD in France and that doesn't include the paid leaves yet. That amount is more than what Professionals earn in the countries of the domestic workers.

Switzerland is not lagging behind either, especially when it just increased the minimum wage in 2011 for domestic workers to $17.40 per hour. A contract is also now honored by law to state and ensure the benefits of domestic workers, which usually include paid holidays and insurances. Swiss vacancies are definitely one of the most sought after in recruitment agencies especially in Asia.

Domestic helper jobs of course can still trace its origins in Asia, where there are Hong Kong positions available that are always being competed upon. After all Hong Kong is the major gateway of maids to work in beautiful countries globally where maids can have the chance not just to support themselves but provide a good life to their families. Thankfully, with more countries recognizing the need of domestic workers, the future is getting brighter.
