Choosing the right menu holders to match your style and look

By Martin Falzon

It's always better to make the first impression worthwhile and surprisingly, by getting the simple things in place properly, one can get better results whilst hosting an event. For menu holders the same logic holds true. If you're eating out in a restaurant or enjoying dining at a party or get together, you can easily enhance the charm and make the event grand by using the right holders. This can be a great factor in impressing the guests. For example more customers will come to a dining outlet that looks clean and tidy compared to a shabby and untidy one.

A menu with a clean and tidy cover also speaks volumes about your venue. Who wants to choose from a menu that has samples from last week's meals splattered across it. A good holder will keep the menus clean and looking like new and prevent the inevitable dining splashes from ruining your menus. This is a big reason why most good restaurants today use menu card holders.

Based on the type of event, occasion or venue different menu cards are available. While a budget cafe may go for simple menu holders, expensive and luxury restaurants may have designer menu holders to match their glamour. Whatever the type of menu holders in use they make the place look clean, tidy and smart. Most have transparent covers which allow the menu to be completely visible and it doesn't cost much too. So with simple investments you can get very good returns in the form of goodwill and customer inflow.

You can make your selection from different kinds of menu card holders according to the needs and budget. Menu holders come is a range of makes, sizes shapes and shades. There is however something you need to remember regarding this. The shape of the holder needs to go with the size of your table. A large holder on a small table looks silly as does a small holder on a giant table. Keeping the holder in the right place is also required to make for a convenient dining experience. Ideally on the side making the holder visible but not getting in the way whilst people are eating.

Most holders are made with light plastic which can be easily moulded and modified. They are portable and pleasing to the ambience. This complements the soothing atmosphere of a dining hall or restaurant. The space inside is also enough to keep a menu of moderate size without any problems. Usually, the common shades are yellow, orange, white, cream and green and so on. They go well with the surrounding and enhance the charming effect.

You can choose from a range of menu holders like 120mm holders, A4 menu card holders, A5 holders and other models as suits your needs. The models are available in different shapes, sizes, makes and colours. Their cost is based on their features. However you should not need to break the bank to purchase them.
