In part 1 of my Six minutes to Success journal, we talked about whether self improvement programs were worth their time and effort.
The question arises as to would the same amount of people become successful even if they did not follow self help ideas and programs? Certainly there is no way to answer this. Although it becomes scary to think what life would be like if we had no hope of improving ourselves.
Then why do most people who purchase items from the self help industry receive no benefits? Great question, yet know one really knows the answer. Although the vast majority of the products available all claim they know the answer.
I guess this poses the question Is success an individual process for each of us?. Is there no one real path that everyone of us can follow and be guaranteed success? I prefer to accept this way of thinking. It allows us to understand why so many do not succeed, yet it allows us to believe that we still have a chance at success.
The vast amount of wealth and joy available is a strong pulling point, yet for many it seems out of reach. This is where Bob Proctor's Six Minutes To Success comes in. He is not pushing a single path to success but instead opens your mind to possibilities and hope.
Certainly the material Bob Proctor offers is similar to many other programs, books and DVDs available, the method is far from the same old techniques. By sending you daily videos, he opens your mind and causes you to think and do what you need to do, not what someone else is telling you will work.
Is Six Minutes to Success the key to your success? Certainly not, well not for the vast majority of it's users. Yet those who can focus on the lessons and themselves will certainly have a better chance at success.
OK back to the beginning, Is Self Help effective. As you can guess I have to answer no for most people. Yet for those who are willing to put in the effort and focus, I believe you will have a better chance. I certainly do not have the answer.
I do believe having a mastermind group to help you along is a huge help. If you would like to become part of mine, you can check out my weekly podcasts at 30 Wasted Years. Being a part of Six Minutes to Success is not necessary to be part of our podcasting mastermind.
