We all love our potatoes no matter how you have them. Baked, fried, mashed, chips, hashed, plain salted, with dip; it really doesn't matter as long as you get your taters. This root crop which has become a staple in our diets is taken in many forms. Potatoes are a good source of carbohydrates and many other vitamins and minerals. Though we never really think about where out potatoes come from there is one state that boasts of the best potatoes, Idaho.

What is now an entire industry in Idaho started with just a single missionary. Today, potatoes are an important matter in this state. Advertising Idaho potatoes take a lot of money and time and they have certainly invested in that. You will even be surprised to know that there is a commission that makes sure this industry is kept on top. Among the things that they have to celebrate potatoes in Idaho are festivals.
