Don't let yourself be bullied into a home business

By John Wallen

I'm very serious about my home business, just like many others are. But there's one thing that I think seperates me from many of those others. I don't try and hustle people in to joining my opportunity. I don't want to convince someone on something they don't really want to be a part of, and will have regrets about later on.

A network business is a very affordable way to be a business owner and create success, and build a strong business. But, if you get that phone call where they get pushy, tell that person to take you off their list, and say goodbye, just hang up. That's not the way to go about promoting any business.

A person that builds their business this way, is not going to dedicate themselves in the long run to helping you succeed and keeping you up to speed. If you don't keep educating and passing information along, your downline will fail right along with you. Couching someone for an hour then never keeping in touch, is a network disaster.

When getting started, you had better keep your budget in mind and do the right things in your beginning marketing. It's not a good idea to keep your fingers crossed that the money you do spend at first will produce results. You will fail, and the sad thing is, this is how you will be coached at the start of your business.

There's a proper way to do things in this industry, but yet so many just don't get it, or don't want to. They think their pit bull ways are the only way to look at things when it comes to their network business. But I would never convince anyone to join my opportunity, if I felt they were just looking for a miracle to get out of debt.

I am always educating myself and keep an open mind to new idea's for my home business. When I get the "I thought you were looking for an opportunity to make money" call, I let them go the whole nine yards. Then let them know where to get better educated so they won't fail themselve's or anyone else. I hear silence after that usually, than click.

Now if your in the home business industry, or thinking about getting involved in a networking business of your own. You may have experienced this kind of marketing behavior before, and they have to make a ton of calls to maybe coerce 1 person out of a 100 to join their business opportunity. You would never catch me doing that. For one thing, I don't have to, I use a very duplicatable marketing system that has never failed me. A system every person in a home business should consider. It is very efficient, and doesn't take up your whole day!
